There are many available tools online that can help you design and create a website should you opt to go in that direction.  If you decide to go with the 2nd option, you can find freelancers who provide quality services for reasonable costs.
    Set up online payments – You can improve your business operations if online payments are available.  It will be more convenient for customers and will allow them to act on impulse.  Consider PayPal and Google Checkout for this purpose.  Adding a shopping cart may also be a good idea.
    Determine how you will deliver your products. – This will depend on the type of products you sell.  It is a lot simpler to deliver online services and downloadable information.
    Build traffic to your site. – Without traffic, even the best site designs and the most worthy products will be useless.  To enhance traffic to your internet and online business, you can enlist with the major search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo.  You can also advertise through Google and the various social networking sites.
